Legal
Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you, Servixo, and the professionals who do the work.
Last updated
Draft, pending legal review. This describes how the platform is designed to work. It has not yet been drafted or approved by a qualified adviser and is not a legal instrument. The final version will be published here before launch.
What Servixo is
Servixo is a platform that connects customers with independent Service Providers. The work itself is carried out by the provider assigned to your booking, not by Servixo directly.
Bookings
A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation with a slot and a reference. Availability depends on approved Service Providers covering your PIN code at the time you choose.
Pricing and quotes
The figure shown against a service is a starting price for the smallest version of that job, not a total. What it covers is listed on the service page. Work beyond that scope is quoted for your approval before it starts, and materials are billed at cost.
Your responsibilities
Give an accurate address and a contact number that will be answered, provide safe access to the work area, and tell us in advance about anything on site that affects the job.
Service Provider obligations
Registered providers must keep their verification documents current, only accept work in the categories they are approved for and the areas they have selected, and carry out work to the checklist for that service.
Liability
Report damage caused during a visit within 48 hours. We will investigate with the provider before deciding a remedy. The full claims process is being finalised and will be published here before launch.
Who can use Servixo
You need to be old enough to enter a contract in India and able to give access to the address you are booking for. Details you give us — your name, number and service address — need to be accurate, because they are what the assigned Service Provider works from.
Things you must not do
Using Servixo does not extend to any of the following.
- Booking a visit for an address you have no right to give access to.
- Asking a Service Provider to carry out work outside the scope they were booked and approved for.
- Arranging payment directly with a Service Provider to take a job off the platform, which removes the record, the warranty and the route to support.
- Abusive or unsafe conduct towards a Service Provider, in person or in writing.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We would rather resolve a complaint directly, and support can escalate any open job to a supervisor. Where that does not settle it, the courts named in the final version of this document will have jurisdiction — the seat will be confirmed here before launch.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version, and continuing to use the platform after a change means accepting it.
