Why Servixo
Built to be the one you call again
Everything claimed on this page can be checked by a customer after a booking. That is the bar it was written to — a two-hour reschedule window is a feature, and best in class is not.
Trust
Whether you can let this person into your house
Everything else on this page is irrelevant if the answer to that is no. Trust is not a tone of voice — it is a set of checks that either happened before somebody was allowed to accept your booking, or did not.
Verified Service Providers
Background-checked experts you can trust.
Verification happens once, at registration, and no Service Provider takes a booking until it clears. Identity is checked against government photo ID, the background check runs before approval rather than after a complaint, and the trade test is specific to the Service Category being registered for — an electrician is not approved on a plumber's assessment.
Transparent Pricing
Know the price before you book. No hidden charges.
Every service page carries the starting price and the list of what it covers, so the number is never shown bare. Where a job genuinely cannot be priced in advance — painting, moving, solar — the page says so and explains what the site visit decides, instead of printing a figure that will not survive contact with your house.
Secure Payments
Pay through UPI, card or net banking after the job is done, with the receipt itemised in the app.
You pay after the work, through UPI, card or net banking. No card details are stored by Servixo, no deposit is taken to hold a slot, and the receipt itemises the service, the parts at cost and the taxes as separate lines.
Convenience
Whether booking it costs you more than doing it
A forty-minute repair that consumes an afternoon of waiting has not been made convenient. These three exist to keep the cost of arranging the work well below the cost of the work.
Easy Booking
Book your service in just a few taps.
Pick a service, pick a slot, confirm. There is no enquiry form that leads to a phone call that leads to a quote — the flow that most home-services sites still run. If you would rather describe the problem than choose a category, that route exists too and a person answers it.
Confirmed Appointments
You get a confirmed appointment rather than a half-day window, and a notification if your Service Provider is running late.
A slot is a commitment, not a range. You get a notification when a Service Provider is assigned and another when they set out, and if they are running late you are told rather than left watching the clock. Free rescheduling up to two hours before makes the commitment mutual.
Service Availability in Your Area
Every service lists the cities it covers, and your PIN code decides which approved Service Providers can take the job.
Coverage is a property of the provider network rather than of the brand. A Service Location appears on this site because approved Service Providers registered there, and the Service PIN Code you give when booking is what decides which of them can be assigned. That is why each service page lists where it is available instead of implying the whole country.
Quality
Whether it holds up after everyone has gone home
The test of a repair is not how it looks when the professional leaves. It is whether you have to think about it again in three months, and what happens to you if you do.
Quality Assurance
Work is checked against a service-specific checklist, and we follow up on anything rated below four stars.
Work is checked against a checklist written for that service rather than a general impression of whether it went well. Ratings are not decoration: anything below four stars is reviewed by a supervisor, and a pattern of them affects whether a provider keeps taking work.
Service Warranty
Covered work carries a written warranty — if the same fault returns within the period, we come back at no charge.
Covered work carries a written warranty, and the period is stated before you book rather than produced afterwards. If the same fault returns inside it, the return visit is free. Where a return visit cannot resolve it, the refund policy takes over.
Customer Support
Reach a person on chat or phone seven days a week, and escalate any open job to a supervisor.
A person on chat or phone, seven days a week, who can see your booking without you reading out a reference number twice. Any open job can be escalated to a supervisor — that is a route you can use, not a phrase in a help centre.
The comparison
Servixo, or finding someone yourself
Both columns are written to be accurate. If you already have a plumber you trust, the second column is not obviously better than the first — which is the honest answer, and it is below the table.
Finding someone
Finding someone yourself
A neighbour's recommendation, a building group, or a number stuck inside the lift. Excellent when it works, and a dead end at nine on a Sunday evening.
With Servixo
A catalogue where every service states its scope and its starting price before you book, across fifteen trades you may never have needed before.
What it will cost
Finding someone yourself
Agreed on the phone or at the door, seldom written down. The real figure often arrives at the end, after the work is already done.
With Servixo
A published starting price and what it covers. Anything beyond that scope is quoted and approved by you before the work continues.
Who turns up
Finding someone yourself
Whoever is free that day, possibly not the person you spoke to. You are trusting a recommendation rather than a check.
With Servixo
ID-verified, background-checked and trade-tested before they can accept a booking, with their name and photograph sent to you in advance.
When they turn up
Finding someone yourself
“Sometime after lunch.” A whole afternoon held aside for a forty-minute job, and a second one held if they do not come.
With Servixo
A confirmed slot, a notification when they set out, and free rescheduling up to two hours before if your day changes.
If it goes wrong
Finding someone yourself
Call them again and hope. There is no third party, nothing in writing, and no route beyond the person who did the work.
With Servixo
Covered work carries a written warranty, anything rated below four stars is reviewed by a supervisor, and refunds follow a published policy.
Where doing it yourself wins
A tradesperson you have used for fifteen years, who already knows which pipe in your building was replaced and which was not, will usually be cheaper than a platform and often faster. There is no verification step that beats having watched somebody work for a decade, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Servixo is for the other situations: a trade you have never needed before, a city you have just moved to, a Sunday evening, or a job where you would rather have something in writing than something agreed at the door. Keep your plumber. Use us for the other fourteen trades.
